About us

Bean Central Coffee Roasters began roasting coffee on West End Ave in Nashville, Tennessee in 1985. We opened as Nashville's first coffee bar. The roaster was in the back room and the green bean inventory was stacked in front and back. It was very unusual back then to roast your own coffee.
In those early days we would literally go days without selling an espresso based drink. But we did sell lots of coffee beans.

Today we concentrate on roasting and shipping to our customers here in beautiful Middle Tennessee and to our many customers throughout the U.S.
